WHO
CAN APPLY?
To apply to the student job abroad program, you have to:
- be a student,
- be a European citizen (French or Belgium for Canada)
- be between 18 and 28 year old,
- have accomplished at least one university year to go to the
USA,
- have already learned English or Spanish .
HOW
DOES IT WORK?

Lenght
of stay:
The
stays that we propose can be done all year round in England and
Spain and lenght from 2 to 6 months.
In Canada and the USA the stays can take place during summer holidays
and lenght from 2 to 3 months in Canada or from 3 to 4 months
in the USA.

| When
World Stage Interface accepts your application, we assist you
in your whole project.
We look for your job and accommodation and we give you the necessary
documents for your visa application. Our English, Canadian, American
or spanish partners assist you in their countries.
The
job positions are in the following fields:
- National Parks (welcome, reception-desk, maintenance, tecnical
work, sales, swimming-teacher...)
- Restauration (service, bar, dish-washing, cooking...)
- Hotel (welcome, reception-desk, cleaning, service, bagage-handler)
- Sales (cash-register, shop, sales...) .
Wage:
In
England you earn from 4 to 5£ per hour. The monthly wage
is around 600£ per month for 120 to 160 working hours per
month.
In Spain you earn from 700 to 1000€ per month plus tips.
In Canada and the USA, the minimum wage (without tips) ranges
from 5,75 US/canadian$ to 10 US/canadian$ per hour. The monthly
wage, without tips, is around 1200 US/canadien$, for 120 to 160
working hours per month .
Accommodation:
In
England and Canada you are accommodated in host families. The
rent is around 336£ per month in England for self catering
accommodation in twin room or 476£ in single room, and around
720$ per month in Canada for full-board accommodation in single
room.
In the USA and Spain, you are accommodated in shared appartments
on your working place or from a walking distance of your working
place. The rent is around 360$ per month in the USA and 340€
per month in Spain. (In Spain, we propose twin room accommodation.
Single rooms are available upon request but there are a few availabilities.)

ADMINISTRATIVE
FORMALITIES:
Student
jobs in England and Spain :
As a European citizen, you need no particular document but your
ID or passport to enter the UK or Spain and to work therer.
As
employee of a British or Spanish company, you are coverd by the
British or Spanish Health Board. But the prices of medical cares
could be high. That is why we advise you to apply for a private
health insurance. We would recommand the Isis medical Insurance
(www.istc.org).
Student
jobs in the USA and Canada:
You travel out of the European Union, so you need a visa.
To temporarly work in the USA, you need a J-1 visa and to participate
to an exchange program.
By participating to our program, you are delivered the required
documents that allow you to apply for a visa in your American
Embassy. ( DS-2019).
With this visa you are allowed to stay in the USA during your
work contract..
Thanks to J-1 visa, you can also stay in the USA during one more
month to travel around.
To
temporarly work in Canada you need a working-holidays visa. Please
send your application file to your Canadian embassy.
By working out of the European Union, your are not covered by
your national medical insurance. You have to apply for a specific
insurance. World Stage Interface recommand the ISIS travel insurance
(www.istc.org).
